Estimator:

Job Title: Commercial Estimator – Ceilings, Partitions, Doors & Windows (V6 & OST Expert)
Location: Adelaide, South Australia

Reports To: Estimating Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive and precise quantity take-offs using OST for ceilings, partitions, doors, and V6 software for windows packages.
• Input and manage data through V6 Estimating Software to produce clear and concise cost estimates.
• Analyse project documentation including architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and tender requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to source and validate pricing and scopes of work.
• Prepare and submit tender submissions, RFI logs, clarifications, and trade breakdowns.
• Attend site inspections and tender briefings as required.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in commercial construction estimating, specifically in ceilings, partitions, doors, and windows.
• Advanced proficiency in V6 Estimating Software and On-Screen Take-off (OST) is essential.
• Solid understanding of construction detailing, building codes, and specifications relevant to the Australian market.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in take-offs and costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.

Essential Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying is essential.
• Experience working with OST and V6 is Essential.
